Hi Randy,

I don't think our Johnsons are the same family. As far as I can tell Stephen
was an only son who died before 1851, the year his father wrote his will.

This is my husbands family and he said that his grandmother always said they
came to TN from NC. Now the big question: Did she mean the Johnsons or her
family the Bolens? The only thing I am sure of they both came from Hawkins
Co. TN to Indiana. All information, what little there is, says that Stephens
sons Abner, Anderson & Thomas were born in Indiana. Evidently they all went
to Hawkins Co after their fathers death.

I wish I could find some more decendants of this family. They always say 2
heads are better than one, I sure would like to find out.<grin>
