I am researchering Johnstons in Ohio and Pa. Your line isn't mine but I did

notice you have a menard ,French Canadian and I am doing Louiisiana research

and there are quite a few Menard in and around Baton Rouge., Possibley look

at Iberville, La. Go to the Catholic church records of Baton Rouge. The LDS

library had the records in book form at Santa Monica Ca. so I imagine you
can pull them up or get the copies.
