My sister, Cynthia Johnston, went to Scotland in 1992 and found places of interest - the Devil's Beeftub, horse thieves and present Duchess or something. Apparently we have quite a history in the old country - William Wallace times, the MacDougall family, the Fabry family. In this country, we served in the Civil War (General Joseph Eggleston Johnston, General Albert Sidney Johnston (?), but I don't know the history immediately following that conflict. Also the Davidsons of Davidson University
