Birth: abt 1766, Edgecombe Co., NC
Death: 1816, Lauren County, Georgia
Father: WILLIAM Joyner (~1720-1785)
Mother: Selah (~1722->1800)

Will of father, William Joyner, dated 11 Jan. 1783: "Impremies I give &

received 36 pounds 6 shillings and 11 pence.

Burwell left Nash County between 1790 and 1800. On the 1790 Census he listed
himself, 2 males under 16, a wife and 2 females. This would make Willie D.
and Shadrack born before 1790 and 3 of the girls were probably born in
Georgia.
