born in Davenport, Iowa

Descendant of Josiah Jordan.
Daughter of George Jordan and Lucinda Harman, his wife.
Granddaughter of Josiah Jordan and Catherine Miller, his wife.
Gr-granddaughter of Josiah Jordan and Abigail Farrar, his wife.

Josiah Jordan (1760-1840) was a matross in Capt. James
Frothingham's company, Col. John Crane's artillery regiment 1777-79.
He was born in Stoughton, Mass.; died in Chester, Vt.
