My info shows Louis (Lewis) as the son of Joseph Thomas Joslin (B 1830 Vigo, IN) and Mary Matilda Asbury. Joseph was the son of Elam Joseph Joslin and Frances (Fanny) Fisk. Here's where it gets dicey. Records agree that Elam is the son of Sarah Austin. Many show the father to be Joseph Thomas Joslin (B 1777, NJ). However a researcher found records that indicate Sarah had a son by William Joslin (a cousin of Joseph). If you review the date of Elam's birth (1792) to the marrriage of Joseph and Sarah (1795), you can infer Elam was the son of William.
