Hello Gloria, I looked up your surname's in the "Pioneers of the Blue Stem
Prairies" finding Philander Alvin (b 1864, d 1940) married a Mable
Hutchison, daughter of James L and Ada (Flint) Hutchison.
Hattie Baker (b 1875, d May 18 1962) married Nov 26 1905 Marvin Van Ccoyoc,
son of Peter and Mary Ann Kruse - b Jan 28 1850, m 1870, d at Oakhill May
29 1929) Van Scoyoc. Karl Kruse b May 11 1843 in Pershing, Germany, died
July 7 19109 at Linn KS - There's more history about him in the
book. Clarence Bruce married Edna McDowell. Johanas Gustav (b Jan 6 1887,
d Dec 26 1942) in Manhattan married (second wife) Jennie McDowell.Mary
Ellen Betzer (b May 14 1858 d Dec 30 1947) m Jan 1 1880 James Perle
McDowell (b May 4 1854 d Sept 25 1920) there's also more info on him too.

There are also references to the surnames Howard, Lowe and Barney, lets
know if you'd like me to look at these also.
