family line), Betty (m. Arnold Geffert),

some have died.)

Various family lines were or remain also in Wichita, Topeka, Marysville,
Valley Center, Cheney, Minneapolis, Pratt, Hutchinson, Philipsburg,
WaKeeney, Hill City, Hoxie, Densmore (now all but off the map!!!), and
Hugoton.

I have spent a total of about six weeks in Kansas, three of them this
past July, in research. I would be grateful to hear from anyone who knows
or knows of any of these folks. The objective is to prepare a book to
update portions of Meyer, Henry, _Genealogy Of the Meyer Family_, 1890,
including these of persons who moved from Pennsylvania to Kansas or
Pennsylvania to northern Illinois (Stephenson Co) and then to Kansas. The
name has generally changed to Moyer, except in Centre Co PA (site of Penn
State U.), where it remains Meyer.
