Hi,
My husband's family were indian and lived on the reservation until the turn
of the century so don't know much about them. His dad left them when he was 3
yrs old.
I will do some checking on the newspapers of the area.Manhattan is very
near there and may also contain information.I know you can get microfilm for
the era through the State Historical society by library loan program. I
lived in Manhattan for a while many years ago and have been often to J.C.
We moved back to Crawford Co Ks in the 1970s and been here ever since

This site may help you.Wish I lived closer or would go look
Carol
