Sorry that I left out some information. Excuse is that I wrote it early....
Aunt Lucy Galliger was born Lucy A. Peirce/Pierce in Robertson Co., Texas in 1864. By 1879 she was married to Americus N. Callen and is living in Robertson Co., Texas. That is the last time I can document her. I have checked the marriage records for that county for a record to a Galliger. Apparently there weren't children of the Callen marriage since none seem right in the 1900 census. I have tried the census with every spelling, etc. I can find nothing that fits. Of course I do not know who the Galliger was that she was married to nor if there were children.
I wrote this in hopes there might be a Galliger of any spelling that might accidently be related. This sister is the only one that can not be documented after 1880. Would love to fill in the information about her.

Pat,
Can you give any other information? Such as, what was her maiden name?
Approximate year and place of birth? Siblings or parents names? Don't be afraid
to search alternative spellings to names either. Many times the enumerators
spelled names as they sounded to him, not as they should have been spelled. Lucy
might be found as Lucille, Lucie, L. with middle initial. Did you try the
conventional spelling of GALLAGHER? She may be living with another family member
or living as a domestic servant in a private household. Also don't forget to try
other areas than you think she would be. I was surprised to find my grandmother,
who was born in Kansas, grew up in Ohio, at age 25 in Enid, OK working as a
domestic servant and resided one block away from the man who would later be my
grandfather. Now I know how it is they most likely met.

I am looking for the sister of a grandmother who is supposed to go by the name
of Lucy Galliger. Lucy apparently died after 1941 since she is listed in my
grandmothers obit. I have a picture and was told that is aunt Lucy Galliger
(spelling comes from the obit)
The problem is that I cannot document her in the census after 1880. I don't know
who the husband might be, if there were children, etc.
Does anyone know of this lady?
Thanks
Pat
