Am looking for the parents and place of birth of:
Katherine Delores WILKES, supposedly born 5 Mar 1904
somewhere in Kansas (northeast corner?).
Supposedly she met Frank WOOD somewhere in eastern
Canada and perhaps married him around 1927. They lived
in Toronto, Ontario.
The known children are:
1-Frances Katherine WOOD, b. 14 Sep 1927 in Brandon,
Manitoba? who md. Alfred Gordon CLARKE in 1950.
2-Rhoda WOOD born abt. 1932 & died shortly after
birth.
Katherine died 16 Mar 1970 in Toronto & St. James
Crematorium, Toronto. - She had an older brother,
Charles, and at least one other brother.
I've tried the 1900-1910 & 1920 Kansas Census
indexes but haven't found her or Charles as children
of a Wilkes couple. Any info. would be appreciated.
