For anyone interested:

On Brady's Bend area history, in Armstrong Co. PA:

"Peter KEALOR (later spelled KAYLOR) built a sawmill or gristmill on his
tract of land in 1817 and the little settlement eventually bore his name.
Peter was the son of Leonharte (Leonard) KEALOR, who cleared the brush on
the farm eventaully occupied by his son. Both Leonard and Peter served in
the War of 1812. Peter married Anna Silvis. He died in 1861; his wife in
1874. They were parents of eight children: Jacob; Isaac; Elizabeth, who
married Samuel Kamerer; Polly, who married a McKinney; Anna, who married
William Foringer; Sarah; and Sophie. Isaac served in the Civil War for
three years. He was wounded in the battle fo the Wilderness in Virginia by
a gun shot would in the left cheek, which shattered his jaw bone, cut his
tongue and affected his left eye. He married Priscilla Barnhart."

The name "Kaylor" in Kaylor Baptist Cemetery indicates the name of the
town. According to the cataloging, there are no Kaylor's buried there.
Two persons of a later generation of Kaylors, but having passed away quite
a few years ago, were Henry Kaylor and Gabriel Kaylor. It is likely that
any Kaylor's buried here are in one of either of two larger cemeteries
located along State Highway 268.

This information from Brady's Bend Historical Society secretary several
years ago. This was the answer to my query about the Town of Kaylor in
Armstrong Co. PA.

BTW there is a Kaylor South Dakota, too, but it appears not to have been
named after a Kaylor. It was going to be named Taylor and there was
already one in SD so they changed one letter. Not sure I believe that, but
that is what was told me several years ago by a person whom the postmaster
referred me to. We went on a trip to SD after that and looked up the town,
took pics by the name, etc.. Kind of fun, even if no kin around.
