do you all know about the GenServe project?

It is a co-operative database of gedcome files which currently contains 6
million names
and it is expanding every month. The only way you can access it is to send them
your own gedcom file for inclusion. It is a good way to make your family trees
public and accessible, and there is always a chance you will find some valuable
information there. Once you are a participant (free for two months, and then a
nominal fee) you access the data base by sending in email messages. Then system
return the info by email, so you can participate without being on the web.

There is a large list of KEARNS and it variants in the system. I can post
the current
list if anyone is interested. Let me know.
