William Henry Egle wrote in "Pennsylvania Genealogies", (2nd ed.
Genealogical Publishing Co. Baltimore, 1969.), p. 353, 354:

Ella Virginia LAUMAN first married a Dr. Hiester of Reading, PA. They
had the following children:

Anna Hiester who married Dr. McCherry
Edwardine Hiester

Ella Virginia Lauman Hiester then married a KEIM from Reading, PA. What
KEIM did she marry?

An Anna Hiester KEIM is reported as a child of John High KEIM, John b.
1817. Is he the KEIM that Ella married and the girls took the KEIM
surname?

Anna Hiester became Anna Hiester KEIM
Edwardine Hiester = Edwardine Hiester KEIM

The only flaw in this is that there is no Edwardine Hiester KEIM
reported as a daughter of John High KEIM, and John's listed daughter
Anna Hiester KEIM was reported to have died in childhood. Anna Hiester
was reported to have married Dr. McCherry.

Anyone able to clear this up?
