My KEMPER ancestors, as far as I am able to trace at the moment, are:

I am at a brick wall on my great grandparents. Cannot find his first
name nor her maiden name. Very frustrating.
My great grandfather, James T Kemper, was born in 1845 In Dayton, Ohio.
Later lived in Iowa with his mother Sarah. He married in 1871, then in
early 1880, he was struck by lightning and killed. Leaving Mary Jane a
widow with 5 children.
I cannot find info on his death or burial.
Only have family records as to the event, with no date, death
certificate nor cemetery records.

Glad to have you on board and hope that the traffic picks up soon on
this list.
