Hi Gary and List,
Like you, I made the mistake of logging out before I had used up the balance
on my voucher before the 48 hours was up. Once that done you can't re-log on
to that particular account session.
I emailed the PRO helpline who said that while there is credit left and
still within the 48 hours, you must use the 'suspend' and 'resume' buttons.
They also told me, however, that if you do inadvertently 'log out' with
unexpired credit left, it is possible to 'resurrect' it by initiating a new
voucher session within that previous 48 hours account session and the
remaining balance of the old voucher will be added to the new. Some saving
grace at least!
By the time I had the email back my 48 hours had expired so am unable to
confirm the latter works.
I hope this helps.
Paul

Subject: [Kent] !901 Census Re-sume/log out querys
Hi List
I have just started using the 1901 on-line census, thought i,d wait till the
rush died down, now it appears to me that i have lost a £5-00 voucher, after
only 15 minutes use , i cannot remember if i logged out or suspended the
account.
Can any clarify the rules ,i know they are on the site ,but would rather
hear what other members do .
As far as i know a session lasts 48 hours , when you log out ,does thet
close your account for good !!.. or can you log in again , till you use up
your 48 hours etc.
When you suspend the account ,does that account keep ticking away till 48
hours is up ,then your a/c is closed down for good !!.
advice needed , please reply off-line .
