I am searching for information on the surname PUGH, especially those from
Indiana. James Martin PUGH was born Dec. 24, 1865 in Indiana. I have no
information on
his parents. He lived at some time in Kansas when he was in his teens. His
father
was a town Marshall at Wichita, Kansas. He lived in Carmen, Ok., Alfalfa Co.
in
1903. He was a carpenter and builder by trade. He lived in Garfield Co.,Ok.
in 1920, in the town of Alva. He married Mary Elizabeth Bird Bower. Has
anyone run
across any PUGH's in Indiana? I have tried alot of things to locate
possible parents
of James Martin PUGH, but so far not much luck. Please help or give
suggestions
where to look next. Cact
