I found in the front of my great-grandmothers bible two grocery lists,
January and February 1935. One of the items on the list was Black Drought,
25 cents. Don informed the list via a very entertaining story that black
draught was a type of laxative. Also on the list was something that looks
like "evil oil". This list is faded and yellowed, it may not say "evil",
but that's what it looks like. I think it is some kind of medicinal because
she lists it between the black draught and opium tablets. Any thoughts?

After I made that statement I think it's wrong. We had Black Strap
Molasses.
Tell us again what Black Draught was.
