I am trying to locate info about my gg-grandfather Cyrus C.Evans who was
born in Kentucky abt 1830. I don't know when or where he died. All I know is
he may be buried around Chelsea OK. I have not been able to find him in
census, or grave sites records. He was married to Nancy Grimes in abt 1850
and she may of been with him until 1859 or later. They had children by the
names of William H.Evans (1854),George H. Evans (1856), and Viola Ellen
Evans (1859). All these children were born in Macon Co., MO.I have received
a picture of him in Missouri with his second wife (name unknown).

I am hoping someone can find him in the Missouri Census records. I have
tried to locate him at the Dallas Texas Library and a lot of their census
and index records are missing. I have tried to find him in the census
records in Oklahoma and have not been able to find him there. Can some one
search for him in the Missouri census or index records in the years
1850,1860,and 1870 and see if they can find him.
Any help would be appreciated.
