There were 26 counties on the 1820 TN census. I don't know for sure the
area they covered or where Rebecca was. I think they left VA and moved
somewhere into TN between 1804 & 1809.

Ancestry.com soundex index shows no Kilgores in TN in 1810 and the
following for 1820:
Thomas Kilgore Springfield,Robertson,TN 1820
Thomas Kilgore Springfield,Robertson,TN 1820
Charles Kilgour Springfield,Robertson,TN 1820
Isaac Kilgore Not Stated,Stewart,TN 1820

I must assume that they were not in a "civilized" area or that the name
was so badly misspelled, that it isn't showing up in the index.
Then there is also the possibility that they were living with her people
(Cherokees) and would not have been counted.

I have looked under every name variation I can think of for Rebecca in
1850. She was probably living with one of her children or
grandchildren, but so far I haven't found her. I am hoping that someone
on our list knows where she was.
