I have a great deal on the Keatings if you would like it. Just let me know.
We may have a family connection. My Grandfather Martin J. Murphy and his
brother James or Michael (Most likely James) came to the US about 1879-81
and landed in Jersey City. James stayed and raised a family, Martin came
to Newport, RI (my home) and married Margaret O'Connor somewhere along the
line. We know little about the Jersey City Murphy's. My parents are gone
and they had all the details.
Hope the information is helpful.
