Sandra, My ancestors were married in St. Mary's Church (of Ireland)
in c.1800. When they came to Canada (1819) they were Methodist
I understand that the Church of Ireland was the required Church for
official Protestant ceremony (s) i.e.Baptism, marriage etc.Various
sects
conducted services in other venues such as in the homes of believers.
but for official records, consult the Church of Ireland. Tom Draper

Hello,
I had another tidbit from my greatgrandfather's marriage
records
that he was Methodist. That is my Tracy (Tracey) line. My question
is in
the late 1790's what methodist churches where there in Kilkenny? Or
any
methodist churches for that matter?
