My Great grandfather was Andrew Hanrahan and he was born in 1853. His
father and mother were James and Johanna (nee Dunn) Hanrahan. They were shown on
Andrew Hanrahan's marriage certificate as farmers from Kilkenny.

Andrew Hanrahan married Mary Ann Flynn (from Clonmel) in Maryborough in
Queensland, Australia on 8th February 1876. He was 23 and she was 16.

Andrew died on 11th November 1884.

It appears that the name change from Hanrahan to Hadraen to Handran came
about through misunderstanding in the records office.

Andrew's burial record shows him as Andrew Hanrahan (Handran)

Can anyone please help with information on where he and Mary Ann Flynn lived
in Kilkenny and Clonmel.?
