Hi

I'm new here and am researching a family called "THOMPSON". Bridget
THOMPSON was born around 1845 in "Kilkenney, Ireland" according to the 1871
English Census. Her parents were Ann and John THOMPSON and looking at the
dates on the 1861 Census it would seem that the THOMPSONs came over to
England between James born 1848 in Ireland and Margaret born 1855 in
Rochdale, Lancashire.

I don't have the first clue about what happens in Ireland I am ashamed to
say, so wondered if anyone would be kind enough to give me a hand?
