It is with sadness that I announce the sudden and unexpected death of my
mother-in-law, Jean Kilian Reiner, May 18th.
Jean's father was Roy George Kilian (b. Aug 23, 1892 - d. Feb 20, 1971
Roy's father was William John Kilian (b. June 15, 1850 - d. 1935)
William's father was John W. Kilian (b. July 26, 1818 - d. Oct 22, 1904)
William had brothers Henry Kilian, John William Kilian, George Kilian.
He had sisters Catharine Kilian (b. May 6, 1862 - d. Jan 26, 1882) and
Libbie Kilian (b. Ot 6, 1869 - d. Oct 7, 1884).
Each and every one of these Kilian's are buried in the Bennington, New
York area (approximately 20 miles east of Buffalo). Does anyone
recognize their ancestors among ours? I was first told that they came
from Germany, but at my mother-in-law's funeral one of her sisters said
that she understood her grandfather Kilian's family came from Ireland.
I have additional information on siblings and spouses.
