James,
Thanks for explaining. The reason I wanted you to explain is that I am new
to the listserv and thought maybe I had missed out on some previous
information about the llion spelling. To the best of my knowledge, and
according to my mother's stories of her father's explanations. It was
David E. (Indiana) who started spelling it llion. But his father Frederick
must have assumed the llion as well. Frederick was Leonard's grandson thru
Mathias, who to the best of my knowledge both (Leonard & Mathias) spelled
it llian.
Thanks again, just wanted to make sure I had not missed anything.
