In response to your request that we make our lines known I submit the
following. Also feel free to visit by home page which shows the lines in
group sheet format at <http://users.arn.net/~billnich/home.html>;. (Please
note the "arn" is not "am").

The Nichols connect up to the Kinkaid line at two separate points. While I
have not proven it yet, I am certain they are actually related.

My Kinkaid line is as follows:

Joseph Kinkaid Born 1771 in Kentucky
Died 22-Sep-1840 in Crawford Co. Indiana
Married Elizabeth Gray Downing

Their son was:
Andrew Kinkaid Born 1795
Died Unknown
Married Barbery Landiss

Their Daughter was:
Elizabeth D. Kinkaid Born 1818
Died Unknown
Married Hiram B. Standiford (who was a member of the state legislature
in Missouri and the founder of Stanton, Kansas)

Their daughter was:
Margaret Elizabeth Standiford Born 1837 or 1838 in Crawford Co, Indiana
Died 11-Feb-1861 Franklin Co, Kansas
Married Isaiah Nichols (part of the bloody Kansas wars, rode with John
Brown and served as an officer in the 2nd Kansas which was a colored
regiment during the civil war)

After Margaret's death Isaiah remarries a Elizabeth Kinkaid. I believe her
to be part of the same family because in Isaiah's pension records
Margaret's sister states that she had know Elizabeth Kinkaid since childhood.

Most of my information on my Kinkaid line comes from other genealogist. I
have little physical evidence and hope some of you can provide me with
additional information or corrections.

Isaiah and Margaret are my GGG-Grandparents.
