There is certainly conflicting information in the history given
for this family. Dungarvan is in County Waterford, Ireland and
no way near County Tyrone. Furthermore, your Arthur
claims descent from Rev. John Kinkead and his cousin
Edgar from David who arrived in 1783. It seems that one
would have to examine the papers more to learn how they
came to their separate conclusions. However, the John Kinkead
who died in Egg Harbor may be the key. With any luck a
death record survived giving place of origin. Seems like he
died after arriving by ship.
