A little further info from "Our Kentucky Pioneer Ancestry". This book
appears to be very well researched. Deeds, wills, Bible entries, etc. are in
many instances given in full though occassionally statements are made
without full resource disclosure.

WILLIAM SON OF THOMAS. "Descendants of Archibald and Rebecca Gant and
Ancestors of Rebecca Kinkead," by Wm Cooper Weaks. Dec. 25, 1944 is given as
the source of the following.
Augusta Will Book 15, p 423 dated September 17, 1819, proved February 1827)
left to his children and wife Agnes land that was bought of Lockridge. Deed
Book 50, page 279, Partition of Wm. Kincaid, Sr., land 260a on Calf Pasture
River to Robert, William and John). [Named in the will: wife Agnes, Nancy
Kincaid, Rbt (his return uncertain, then to son Guy Hamilton Kincaid). Wm,
John, Thomas, Archibal, James Allison and Margaret Graham. witnessess: TA
Pauly, Rbt Dunlap & James Guinn].
Children given in the above book (marriages not sourced).

I think quite interesting in conjunction to this is the 1812 Augusta will of
Samuel Lockridge. Wife Elizabeth with John Montgomery adm. Heirs: wife
Elizabeth; Alice, wife of Andrew Guy (in Ohio); Nancy, wife of Thomas
Kinkade (in Ohio); Andrew; Betsy, wife of Thomas Gwin; Sally wife of Rbt.
Gwin; Rebecca wife of William Kinkade; Peggy (dcd) her son Guy Hamilton
Kinkade; Jane, wife of William Fulton (in Ohio); and minors: Eleanor, Polly,
Catherine, Samuel, Susannah and Allen.

CAPTAIN WILLIAM
(author June Kinkead lists children and grandchildren of Wm and Eleanor
without adequate sourcing except the names and birthdates taken from a
family Bible and listing of children in will which indicates daus. last
names)
