YES, this is a very giving group of people -- and well organized! I've
never actually met a KIRKHAM -- just discovered them lurking around in
my family genealogy. So I am pleased to see that we on this list do try
to share "good" sources with each other.

Any answers out there?

As "list owner" I have the only list. There are 20 subscribers to this
list. I haven't any idea as to each member's research area -- My own
area is simple: FIND LOUISA JANE's PARENTS. From there I'll extend my
search. Right now I concentrate on KIRKHAM families found in Indiana,
Iowa, Kentucky & Illinois in the 1840s to 1870s.

Or maybe just have everyone post a small auto-biography to the list?
Omitting actual addresses might be best as the list is archieved.
Although my husband works for the US Postal Service, I don't do
snail-mail very well. Telephone lines are my best friends.
Any thoughts out there?
I do have a chat room attached to one of my internet accounts. Would
anyone like to have this group "scheduled" to meet there on a regular
basis?
Take Care,
