Good Morning Anne,

Thanks for writing. Love getting mail.

Thank you for the Obit for Gen. Abe. I already had it but may I post it to
my Website and give your name as the contributor ?? Hopefully this might
encourage other people to share their information with me. Sadly, my
contributors are a bit scarce right now and I could use a little help to
make my Website worth going to. My book covers Abraham and Amanda's life
thoroughly and yes his life was so very sad after the death of his son and
then Amanda and then his brother's predicament. The lives of many of his
siblings were just as sad and they too are in the book. Knowing his brother
Thomas' story and the final act of rebellion makes me wonder if I, in his
shoes, wouldn't have been driven to do the same thing. The actions of Judge
Elliott was in-excusable and damning to Tom and his sister. No one from the
Judges family attended his funeral which to me - told me a great deal about
the Judge. I have yet to find Tom and Mary's grave site in Henry County,
KY. I have a feeling it is located on the ill fated land they thought they
owned.

Thanks again for writing and sending the Obit.

Fern
