My most distant ancestor is Peter Bayard Knox, #106428, of Line 6.

Peter Bayard Knox was born probably between 1829 to 1836. I have 1829-30
on the 1860, 1870 & 1880 census. In these he listed his birthplace as New
York and his parents as Scotland. I have a death certificate for Peter
listing his birthdate as 1836 and his death date as Mar 15, 1893 in New
Brunswick, New Jersey.
On later censuses his some of his children list his birthplace as
Scotland, and one daughter states in the 1921 Middlesex County biographies
publication that Peter was born in Scotland and came to the USA at age
seven.

Peter Bayard Knox married Henrietta P Moore Dec 28, 1859 in Lambertville,
New Jersey.

Mayble Knox 1884
There were also at least two more female children for whom I do not
have first names. #1 mar. Joseph Naylor , #2 mar. Edward Hermann

The information I have indicates that Peter Bayard Knox lived in New
Brunswick ,New Jersey for most of the period from 1859 until his death in
1893. There is some evidence that he was back in Lambertville, New Jersey in
1862.
The earliest documented information I have is his marriage announcement in
the 1859 Lambertville Press.
