I am looking for family of or connections with my oldest known Koehler:

John/Johann (probably) Nicolaus Koehler b. 26 Jun 1822 in
Prussia/Hesse/Hanover(?)
emmigrated to US with or ? without family before Nov 1851.
Married 18 Nov 1851 to Verena Barbara Hopp of (both) Baden and Switzerland
Detroit, Wayne Co., MI at St. John's German Evangelical Church
Died July 1890 at his farm in Worth Twp, Sanilac Co., Michigan

Children:
John G. b.19 Aug 1852 (Detroit) m. Mary M. Morton (Ontario, Canada)
William A. b 14 Feb 1854 (Detroit) m. Elizabeth Knapp
Emma b. 1856 (Detroit or Worth twp?) m Friedrich W. Pohly
Mary b. 1859 (Worth) m. Henry Lentz
Frederick b. ca. 1861
Elizabeth b. 1863 m. Walter Smith
Otto b. 1864
Claribel/Caroline b. ca. 1867 m. Unknown Temblett
George b. ca. 1870

On 28 Nov 1854 John N. Koehlar (Koehler) bought 40 acres of land in Worth
Twp., Sanilac County, Michigan. He had also bought land in Detroit around that
time.

Buried also in Sanilac Co. were Andrew W. Koehler (1825-1910) and a Barbara Ko
ehler (1826-1911) who may be sibblings, cousins or unrelated to John N.
Koehler.
Also there were Henry Koehler (ca. 1800-1885) and Anna Koehler (ca.1807-1890)
of an age to be parents or aunt/uncle but who may be unrelated.

There was a John Koehler who applied for citizenship and passed the final
oath in 1844--both in Detroit who may or may not be John Nicholas Koehler b. 26
June 1822.

John N. Koehler was my 2G grandfather.
