Hi Susan
The next time I go to the library I will check on the cemetary listings
they have available. Most for the KCK area are listed. I know of a
couple which are not.
Also, do you have a definate death date or an obituary or some such
thing? The papers from Kansas are available on interlibrary loan from
the Kansas State Historical society. You really would need at least an
approximate date to start checking papers for obituaries. It could have
been put in the Kansas City Mo papers also and it would take a long time
to go through those. They could be borrowed from Interlibrbay loan
through the Mid Continent Library for the Missouri Papers.
Hope some of this helps a little. Those papers are rather hard to find
obituaries in as back in the late 1800's they just stuck them in
whereever it was handy.
I finally found my ggrandmothers on my grandmothers side. It was a line
and a half long stuck in the society colum.
Justina Gunther died in childbirth at her home last week!!!
