I have only one item about a RUCKER family. In 1948-1950, a Truman Rucker
family lived at 6505 South Peoria in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was an estabslihed
Tulsa lawyer. They had a very nice two-story house, and our rent house was
kind of set behind theirs, although they did not own it. He and his wife had
adopted two children. There was a young son, and I believe his name was
Truman Rucker, Jr., and I do remember the little girl, who was adopted while
we lived there (probably 1949). Her name was Sue Burris Rucker. Their home
burned down sometime after we moved from that area (probably would have been
about 1955 when the fire happened). I don't know what happened to them after
that. I do know that he continued practicing law in Tulsa, though, so they
obviously did not leave the city. I hope this helps you out some.
