Thanks, Vivian, for your response. When were the gravestones
dumped in the river? How horrible! I am in Aspermont, TX
and housebound w/ invalid or I would be up there checking it out. John A. Stephenson [my gggrandfather] settled in Galena
around 1866. One of my cousins was there at the cemetery
years ago, but I can get no info from her.
