Subject: shaving cream on tombstones

Hello Orlena, and other interested readers,
When ALL the scientific evidence is on one side, it seems to me illogical
and irrational to take the side which has to offer nothing but anecdotal
evidence and profoundly misunderstood scientific principles. Why would
anyone do that? It calls to mind the old saying - "A LITTLE knowledge can be
a dangerous thing".
I think your post linking to the archives may provide some enlightenment on
the subject. For example, it will show how I roundly exploded the myths
promulgated on the website first posted (to which my original post to this
list was a reply). More importantly, it will show how nobody even ATTEMPTED
to give any counterargument with any scientific merit at all, but rather
posted a link to the same old website, evidently not even bothering to read
my post closely enough to determine that it was precisely those presumptions
that my post defeated in the first place. So it was a clear example of how
the website information was posted - yet again - in a knee-jerk-type
reaction without any consideration as to the merits of the arguments
themselves.
But there is another page that may be worth reading on the topic, and it
might save interested readers even more time. It is a question & answer page
about shaving cream and tombstones, and it is here:
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~gbonner/misc/shavingcream.html
I am happy to entertain any scientific evidence which shows the contrary.
Cheers,
Gregg Bonner

Apparently, Mr Bonner has been lobbying for shaving cream before. He is
not likely to change his mind. Maybe he's right, maybe he's wrong, it really
does not matter.

To maybe save everyone frustration, you might want to
read the previous comments before we all end up in the same place.
Check out the entire page. There seems to be some interesting information
here.
