So far, my problem has been not being able to find many Gledhill listings. What other spellings could it be given? For example: CRANE/ CRAIN; BRASCH/BRASH

What mixups will bad handwriting cause?

So far, I've not found them in Federal Census Records, or him in any Galena area Cemeteries.

I haven't had time to look for them in the 1880 Federal Census yet.

Kansas is now searchable with HeritageQuest and I didn't find them there.

I didn't have any luck with rootsweb's WorldConnect either

I do agree more information wouldn't hurt. Their parents and children, at least, would be nice. As he says, he's new.

Hello all. I'm new to this list, and hope someone can give me a
helping hand.
I'm researching the Whitaker surname in two areas of Yorkshie, England.
Rose
Whitaker married George Gledhill in 1860. They emigrated to the US in
spring
1872, with their daughters Henrietta b.1862 and Annie b. 1866. Rose
died in
Oswego 16 Dec 1895 and George in Galena 11 Nov 1910. I have no idea
where they
are buried and wondered if anyone had come accross them.
