I would like to find some information on this family while they were
living in Kansas. I have been told that they were there in the late
1880's and I don't know how much longer they remained there. The family
believes that they were living in the Kansas City area but we have never
found any proof of this. I would deeply appreciate any help that anyone
might have finding these people while living in Kansas. Thanks.

William Dexter SHANE
was first married to Elizabeth Ellen Oswalt on September 02, 1860 in
Ashland Co., OH. His father was George D. SHANE and his mother was
Sarah Ann FORD. William and Elizabeth had three children:

George Wesley SHANE b. April 20, 1862 in Loudenville, Ashland Co., OH
Married Nov. 23, 1882 in Lucas, Richland Co., OH
died September 18, 1938 in Cygnet, Wood Co., OH
Spouses: Saura Weirick (1st wife)
Carrie Mae Brubaker (2nd wife)
