Lynn - Still have not been able to find Martha. Finally did find William J.
in 1910. Couldn't believe my eyes. I'd been seeing this entry in the index
from the start and finally told myself to look at it in case it could be
William's child or something. The index shows "W. Jone Marshal, 3 yrs old",
and that's exactly the way it is hand written on the census.
