Gertrude McKernan.

Relatives learned here Saturday of the death of Mrs. Gertrude Zimmerman McKERNAN, 70, a former Topekan, at her home in Parsons. She was born and reared in Topeka and moved to Parsons in 1910, after her marriage. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Zimmerman.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Melvin BROWN of Okmulgess, Okla.; two sons, Leo of Parsons and James of Olpe, and 14 grandchildren; two nieces, Mrs. Earl W. MANNING, 1501 Boswell, and Mrs. Loretto DISBROW, 919 Saline; a nephew, Lester WEAVER, Jr., 107 Kendall, and two cousins, Mrs. Harvey LANDON, 601 Swygart, and Joseph Zimmerman, 2014 East Sixth.
Funeral services will be a 9 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick's Church at Parsons and burial will be in the Parsons cemetery.
