Laura Neely ROWE, was born Nov. 30, 1903, at Scranton, Kans. She attended Sunday school at the Methodist church when a child. After finishing grade school at Scranton she attended Stricklers Business College and later worked at the Merchants National Bank in Topeka.
She was married June 15, 1923, to Floyd A. ROWE, and to this happy union two loving children were born, Doris Loraine, age 7, and Delmas Eugene age 6. Her married life was one great pleasure from beginning to end, always faithful to her children and husband. She departed this life on Febraury 10, 1932 at Stormont Hospital in Topeka.
Besides her husband and children she leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Amos NEELY; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah TUCKER and Miss Thelma NEELY, a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
Surrouned by friends, we are lonesome;
In the midst of our joys we are blue;
With a smile on our faces, and a heartache,
Dear Laura, we will always long for you.
Funeral services were held at the M.E. church, Friday at 230 p.m, conducted by the Rev. BASQUIN. Interment in Scranton Cemetery.
