Mary Ayers Dies at Home; Rites Friday.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the chapel of the First Presbyterian Church for Mrs. Mary Robinette Taliaferro AYERS, 72, 1511 Mulvane, who died Wednesday at her home.
She was the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McCOMB, who came to Topeka in 1858.
She was born July 4, 1888, at Wilson in Ellsworth County and lived here most of her life. She attended the college of the Sisters of Bethany and Washburn College.
She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church and took part in Guild work. She was also a member of the Woman's Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the American Colonists, and Mulvane Art Assn.
Survivors include her widower, Rollin W. AYERS of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Farnk McALEAVEY of Wichita; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Mrs. G.B. BLAIR of Reno, Nev., and Mrs. Howard BREECE of Kansas City.
Burial will be in Topeka Cemetery.
