Herman Divers Dead at 80; Rites Pending.

Funeral is pending for Herman DIVERS, Sr., 80, 814 E. 14th, who died in Kansas City Tuesday.
He was a custodian for the Kansas Highway Patrol nine years. He was born April 10, 1880, at Lake, Mo., and lived in the St. Louis area before moving to Topeka in 1926. He was a veteran of World War I.
Mr. DIVERS was a member of Jordan Patterson Post No. 319 of the American Legion.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mabel DAVIS of the home; two sons, Herman DAVIS, Jr., 934 N. Western, Walter DIVERS of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Edith PLAKIO, 813 E. 13th, Mrs. Odessa HILL, 1432 Monroe; three sisters, Mrs. Mary ALEXANDER, and Mrs. Lulu ALEXANDER, both of Maryland Heights, Mo., Mrs. Anna JONES of St. Louis; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Bowser Mortuary is in charge.
