Deaths and Funerals
The funeral of Mrs. C.W. KEARNS will be held Friday from the residence, 328 Lindenwood avenue at 2:30 o'clock. Burial in Topeka cemetery.
Edward EMMONS, aged 76, died at 1 p.m. yesterday at the home of his son, William EMMONS, 316 Monroe street.
Mrs. Maggie HOGBIN, aged 44, died Tuesday night at her home, 216 Emmett street. The funeral will be held at 1:30 today from Shellabarger's chapel. Burial in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
Mrs. P.A. BROWN died Tuesday at St. Joseph, Mo. The body was brought to Topeka yesterday and the funeral will be held at 10 o'clock from the United Brethren church. Interment in Mount Hope cemetery.
Mrs. Helen FRANCIS, aged 79, died yesterday at her home, 110 Tyler street. The funeral will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock form the Church of the Holy Name. Interment in Mount Calvary cemetery.
Mrs. Alice A. LUCAS, age 60, died Monday night at her home, 1300 North Quincy street. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home. Burial in Rochester cemetery.
Funeral services for Samuel G. ZIMMERMAN, aged 53(58), former county clerk of Shawnee county, who died at Albuquerque, N.M., will be held from Penwell's chapel Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Body will lie in state from 10 to 2 o'clock tomorrow.
