Funeral Services for Mrs. Fred Kinney, Jr.
Funeral services for Mrs. Fred KINNEY, Jr., were held at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.E. DANIELS, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. E. C. WOLTERS, and interment was in the Burlingame cemetery.
Florence Vera DANIELS was born at Scranton, Kansas, December 29, 1903. She died at Stormont hospital Thursday, May 7, 1931, after a very short illness, at the age of 27 years, 4 months and 8 days.
She grew to womanhood in the Scranton and Burlingame community attending high school in Burlingame and graduating with the class of 1924. She united with the Presbyterian church in Burlingame in 1916. On January 8, 1920, she was united in marriage with Fred KINNEY, Jr., of Osage City. To this union were born two children, Freddy, five years old, and Mary Elizabeth, 18 months old. For some time Mr. and Mrs. KINNEY lived in Osage City but recently they have been living with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.E. DANIELS in the Pleasant Valley neighborhood, while he was employed at the Tindell Hatchery. Mrs. Kinney was a sincere and loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed by all.
Mrs. Kinney leaves to mourn her early death, her bereaved husband and two children; her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Daniels of Scranton; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond E. MILLS of Topeka and Miss Sara Daniels of the home address; one brother, Willilam Daniels, also of the home address.
