Sarah FRAME was born in Portis County, Indiana, July 7, 1848 and died at Washington, Kan., Feb. 6, 1910, aged 61 years, 7 months and 29 days.
She was married to Elmer Frame in Iowa, Jan. 3, 1876. They moved to Republic County, Kan., in 1879 and continued to live there until March 1908 when they moved to Washington.
Mrs. Frame's immediate surviving relatives are he husband and only child Edward, who during her illness ministered to her every want. They sold the farm and went to Alabama, hoping the mild climate would help her, but her health continued to decline, and longed for home, so they returned in a few weeks before her death. She also leaves three brothers and three sisters living in different localities.
Mrs. Frame united with the United Brethren church at the age of forty-five and has been a devoted member all these years. She was always kind and patient, and suffered without murmuring or complaint. Nothing especially her inability to help others as had been heer want in the past.
Her daughter-in-law was her constant companion during her long illness and proved a daughter indeed.
A brief service was held at the home by Rev. J.W. R. Clardy Monday evening and the family accompanied the remains to Narka where the burial took place.
