A McLouth Kans., Man Dies Here.
John J. WILLIAMS, 44 years old of McLouth, Kas., died yesterday at St. Joesph's hospital of peritonitis. He came here a week ago to undergo an operation for appendicitis. The burial is to be in McLouth.--From Tuesday's Kansas City Times.

Obituary.
John J. WILLIAMS was born at Toledo, Locust Co., Ohio, Dec. 29, 1862, died at Kansas City, Sept. 22, 1907, age 44 years, 8 months, 22 days.
Brother Williams was a man in whom the community believed. He took a bold stand for honesty and citizenship and maintained it until the last. As a neighbor and a friend in the community we shall miss him.
But more than this, as he was loyal to man so he was faithful to God and the church. His simple trust in God, his earnest devotion to the church, his big heart of sympathy and love were an inspiration to us all. Now that he has been called from the church militant to the church triumphant he shall share a larger life.
While here he lived with Christ so constantly, sought His companionship so faithfully, and drew from His friendship so largely that the nature of Christ had become an inseparable part of him so we feel that our loss is Heaven's gain.
He leaves only one brother to mourn his loss but a host of friends join with him in this sorrow. The funeral services were conducted from the M.E. church and the burial was in the McLouth cemetery where the body was laid to rest.

Card of Thanks.
We take this means of expressing our heartfelt thanks to our many friends and neighbors for their assistance in the burial of our brother, John J. Williams.
G.J. JOHNSON and wife.
