Ed McKEEVER, one of the leading attorneys of the Shawnee county bar for many years, died yesterday in a hospital in Chicago, where he had been taken two weeks ago for a serious operation. Yesterday noon word was received here that he was sinking and that his death was expected as any time. Arch McKeever, his son, at once started for his father's bedside, but a wire was received of McKeever's death shortly after the son had left Topeka.
