William D. SHIREMAN was born in Virginia in 1844, and died at Lubbock, Texas, Oct. 21, 1920, at the age of 76 years and 19 days. He was united in marriage to Lydia BURKETT. To this union 10 children were born, 6 boys and 4 girls. Of this number 3 girls and two boys have passed on to their heavenly Father's protecting care. The mother, one daughter, and four sons are left to mourn the loss of a dear companion and father. The mother was in Pueblo, Colo., on a visit and will not be able to attend the funeral on account of poor health. Those of the family that survive the departed one are, Miss Lydia SHIREMAN, Pueblo, Colo.; Mrs. Dell MORGAN, Sharon, Kans.; W.N. SHIREMAN, Ludlow, Colo.; A.E. SHIREMAN, Lubbock, Texas; P.M. SHIREMAN, Victor, Idaho; D.E .SHIREMAN, Pueblo, Colo.
